Summary
Before, woman were not taken seriously and didn't have very many rights. But after the 'persons' act was overturned this changed the way the law saw women, and now they are seen as people in Canada, though they're wages are low and they are still expected to be house wives, it was the start of an era in which women would become more and more independent.
