Provincial Human Rights Legislation is when each province has the ability to adopt new laws that deal with specific human rights issues in that Province. British Columbia has a human rights code with covers all humans on the grounds of the age 19 to 65, of any ancestry, colour, family or marital status, physical or mental disability, place of origin, political belief, race, religion, sex and sexual orientation. This code covers employment practices, tenancy, accommodation services and hate propaganda.
